As\u00ed, los incendios que se originan en el bosque mediterr\u00e1neo son seguros y parte de su ecosistema. El precio de la eficacia en la extinci\u00f3n de incendios es la acumulaci\u00f3n de combustible en el monte. Si a toda costa se apagan las llamas de este tipo de incendios, aseguran los expertos, se crean monstruos. La ecolog\u00eda del fuego y la gesti\u00f3n de incendios ha empezado a romper mitos. No es cierto que todos los incendios sean un desastre ecol\u00f3gico, ni que cada vez haya menos masa forestal.
